Keto Turkey Stuffed Mushrooms for Pups πŸΎπŸ•

Keto πŸ¦ƒ stuffed πŸ„ safe for pups πŸ’•πŸΎ

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes 
  • Cook Time: 35 minutes 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb small to medium cremini mushrooms, also called “baby bellas”
  • 1 TB avocado or olive oil 
  • 1 lb ground turkey (99/1% for low fat treat)
  • 4 oz shredded mild cheddar cheese (Low fat)
  • 3 fresh chopped garlic cloves (some sources say garlic is safe, some say no so if you don’t feel comfortable adding the garlic just leave it out πŸΎπŸ’•)
  • (power booster) Add 1 tsp RM lion’s mane powder for longevity
  • fresh chopped parsley for serving 

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. 
  • Set aside.
  • Chop up your garlic gloves and set aside. 
  • Rinse your mushroom caps, pat them dry, and remove the stems. 
  • Chop up the stems to use in the turkey mixture. 
  • Set aside. 
  • Heat 1 TB avocado/olive oil on medium heat in a skillet. 
  • Add the chopped garlic and sautΓ© for a few minutes.
  • Add the chopped up mushroom stems and sautΓ© for a few minutes.
  • Add the ground turkey to the same skillet and cook until the turkey is no longer pink. This should take about 7 minutes.
  • Add the optional power boost Real Mushrooms Lions Mane mushroom powder.
  • Stir until everything is mixed. 
  • Add your cheese to the skillet and cover for 1-2 minutes. 
  • Remove the cover and stir until the cheese is completely melted and combined with the turkey. 
  • Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Fill each mushroom cap with some of the turkey mixture, and place them on your lined baking tray. 
  • Place the pan in the pre-heated oven and roast until the mushrooms are slightly browned around the edges. 
  • This should take around 10-12 minutes. 
  • Remove from the oven and serve with a sprinkle of fresh chopped parsley
